Welcome to SOMAFCO-X Trust
The X in SOMAFCO-X Trust stands for "former" or "ex". The Somafco-X TRUST is inspired by the legacy of Mazimbu, an exile community in Tanzania where the young exiled South Africans grew up between the late 70's up to the early 90's after fleeing the apartheid regime and joining the liberation movement in exile. In this community the principles of the ANC's vision for a democratic South African society were entrenched and practiced as effectively as possible. Somafco was a classic example of international co-operation to uphold human rights and youth development.
